Synopsis

Tracing the underground lives of caste through time, lives, attitudes, and regimes, the film chronicles the experiences of three generations of a Dalit family in central Kerala. ~~(ads)~~ It is a tale of aspirations and setbacks, betrayals and comebacks, hope and sorrow. Sankaran, the protagonist of the film, was born in 1964 when Communist Party of India.
