Painkili Malayalam comedy movie is directed by Sreejith Babu. Painkili features Anaswara Rajan and Sajin Gopu as the leads. The movie Painkili is produced by Fahadh Faasil under the banner of Fahadh Faasil and Friends in association with Urban Animal of Jithu Madhavan. Painkili is directed by actor Sreejith Babu. As a disciple of Aashiq Abu, Dileesh Pothan, John Paul George, and Vishnu Narayanan, Director Sreejith Babu has appeared in many movies, such as Romancham, RDX, and Aavesham. Another distinctive aspect of the movie is that it was written by Jithu Madhavan, the director of the critically acclaimed movies Romancham and Aavesham. Sajin Gopu, most known for playing Ambaan in the movie Aavesham with Fahadh Faasil's character Rangan Chettan, appeared in many films, including Churuli, Jan. E. Man, Romancham, Neymar, and Chaaver. Sajin Gopu is taking the lead role for the first time.

Painkili movie was released in theatres by Bhavana Release and Home Screen Entertainment as a Valentine's special on February 14, 2025. The Malayalam film Painkili is coming soon to Manorama Max and Simply South from 11 April 2025.

Synopsis

The primary hero is Suku Sujith Kumar. He is an old-school Facebook user who believes that sharing embarrassing books on the social media platform would make him seem cool. He had to obtain a fake mental health certificate at one point due to circumstances in his life, and at about the same time, Sheeba, a girl who had problems with her family and was always running away to escape getting married, joined his life. ~~(ads)~~ In Painkili, we witness the events that take place in these two people's lives.
