Perunnal Malayalam movie is directed by Tom Emmatty. The film Perunnal features Vinayakan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Vishnu Govind as the lead. Manoj Kumar KP, Jolly Lonappan, and Tom Emmatty are producing Perunnal under the auspices of Emmatty Kampany, Jollywood Movies, and Suryabharathy Creations. The screenplay of the film is written from the story idea of Fr. Dr. Wilson Tharayil.

Dinil A Babu is the chief associate director of Perunnal and Sidhil Subramanian is the creative director. PR Somdev is the executive producer of Perunnal.

The title poster for Perunnal, which stars Vinayakan and was directed by Tom Emmatty, was made public on 17 January 2025. "Crowenmaarum Sraappenmaarum" is taglined with the movie's title. The film's main actors are Vinayakan, Shine Tom Chacko, and Vishnu Govind. The film's initial shooting phase is taking place in and around Vagamon. Following Tovino Thomas's Oru Mexican Aparatha and Anson Paul's The Gambler, Perunnal is Tom Emmatty's next directorial movie.

Manikandan Ayyappa is the music director of Perunnal and the lyrics are by Vinayak Sasikumar.

The film Perunnal' initial shooting phase occurs in and around Vagamon.
