A Malayalam movie called "Koragajja" which is similar to Muthappan's tale

Koragajja movie is directed by Sudhir Attavar. The film Koragajja features the famous actor in Hollywood and Bollywood Kabir Bedi, choreographer and European ballroom dancer in Hollywood and Bollywood Sandip Soparrkar, famous Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya, famous Kannada actress Bhavya, and Shruthi Krishnaa, who made her debut with the film 'Swantham Ennu Karuthi', as the lead. The movie Koragajja is produced by Success Films and Trivikrama Cinemas.

The cinematography is being handled by renowned Malayalam cameramen Manoj Pillai and Pavan Kumar. The graphics are handled by renowned VFX artist Lavan-Kushan. The colorist is Liju Prabhakar, the winner of the State Award for the past three years. Jith Joshie and Vidhyadhar Shetty are editing it. Bipin Dev did the sound design. Thus, "Koragajja" results from the earnest efforts of the gifted Malayalam film technicians.

In the films "Oral Mathram" starring Mammootty and "Kottaram Veettile Apputtan" starring Jayaram, Shruti played the lead role. Koragajja movie stars Naveen D Patil, who starred in "Vidheyan" directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan. In Kannada and Tulu, Naveen is also a well-known theater performer.

As a lyricist and co-director of the internationally acclaimed director MS Sathyu's films, Sudhir Attavar has already won multiple awards, including three Radio Mirchi Awards and a BigFM 92.7 Award. His artistic career started in drama, with his play Gul-E-Bakavali being screened at the 8^th World Theatre Olympics. A few days ago, the Honorable Governor of Maharashtra, Ramesh Bais, presented him with the International Film Festival's Best Director and Best Film. He also won the Rajasthan International Film Festival's Best Director award. In addition, Attavar served as an art director and costume and makeup designer for the movie Koragajja.

For the past ten to fifteen years, numerous Karnataka producers and directors have wanted to create a movie based on the Koragajja deity, also known as Karavali. A lengthy list of applications for the title Koragajja has been submitted to the Film Chamber. Otherwise, there are still two or three unfinished "Koragajja" films. Thankfully, Koragajja which was directed by Sudhir Attavar, the renowned Sahitya Akademi Award winner, is preparing for distribution in the meantime. Karnataka's moviegoers are anxiously awaiting this.

Koragajja will be available in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. "Koragajja" will also be screened in Kerala in January 2024. The majority of Koragajja's post-production work is being completed in Ernakulam. In Mumbai, sound mixing is moving forward.
