Synopsis

The story of 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha' takes place at the legendary Kannappan Chekavar's home, Puthooram Veedu. After the youngster loses both of his parents, Kannappan adopts him and takes him to Puthooram to live and study with his relatives. Chandu, the orphan kid, is a quick learner and gains the respect and affection of his uncle, but Aromal Chekavar, his cousin, despises him. As they get older, Chandu becomes engaged to Unniyarcha, Chekavar's daughter. After a series of incidents, Chandu discovers that his cousin is pushing him into a corner. Aringodar, the master Chekavar and Tulunadan expert, helps him escape to the Kali.
