Synopsis

Ruby, the youngest heir, looks for her disabled mother in a greenhouse that her great-grandfather left behind in a dystopian future. Ruby's violent stepfather, a former hunter employed by her grandfather, is in charge of their lives. Their lives are further complicated by an obtrusive professor. Tensions increase and secrets come to light when two unexpected outsiders a police officer and an enigmatic figure arrive. A battle between destruction and peace is fought on the disputed territory as a result of a series of eerie and unexplained incidents that are all related to the curse of a small turtle.
