Bala and Major Ravi make cameo appearances in Gulan Thattukada. The female lead character is a rookie. The movie Gulan Thattukada is produced by Abdulla KH under the banner of MJ Cinemas in association with We Friend's Productions. The screenplay for the film was written by the director Munna himself.

Anoop TP and Jaya Lakshmi are the co-producers. The associate director of the movie is Nahas RK. Tonse Alex is in charge of the filming.

The pooja ceremony of the "Fun Unlimited movie" 'Gulan Thattukada' was held at Vyttila Mermaid Inn, Ernakulam on 12 July 2024. The function was inaugurated by opposition leader VD Satheesan, who lit the lamp.

The music for the film 'Gulan Thattukada' is composed by Shafeeq Rahman with the lyrics penned by Santhosh Varma.
