Gokulam Gopalan is bringing Kanguva and Thangalaan to Kerala

Sree Gokulam Movies of Gokulam Gopalan is releasing the Vikram movie 'Thangalaan' and the Suriya movie 'Kanguva' in Kerala. The Kerala distribution rights of KE Gnanavel Raja's Thangalaan, starring Vikram and Pa. Ranjith, and Kanguva, starring Suriya and Siva, under Studio Green's label, have been acquired by Sree Gokulam Movies.

It was formally declared on 23 July 2024, at Gokulam Gopalan's birthday celebration, that Sree Gokulam Movies would handle the distribution of these movies in Kerala. Speaking at the event, Krishnamoorthy, the executive producer of Sree Gokulam Movies, expressed his happiness at collaborating with Suriya for the first time through Kanguva and returning to work with Vikram on Thangalaan following Ponniyin Selvan 1 and 2. The creators of Thangalaan and Kanguva Studio Green wished Gokulam Gopalan a happy birthday on this special day.

Parvathy Thiruvothu portrays the female protagonist in Thangalaan, whereas Vikram plays a different character. The other two prominent stars are Pasupathy and Malavika Mohanan. While the movie will be released worldwide on August 15, Sree Gokulam Movies will screen in Kerala theaters. The film's soundtrack was composed by National Award-winning composer and Tamil hitmaker GV Prakash Kumar. The cinematography of the film is handled by Kishore Kumar and the editing by Selva RK, the art director is SS Moorthy, and the action director is Stunner Sam.

Suriya's Kanguva, directed by Siva is a period action drama set in time. On October 10, the movie will open in 38 languages in theaters worldwide. This movie has an expenditure of Rs. 350 crore. Under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies, this big-budget movie that Kerala has been waiting for will be released in theaters by Gokulam Gopalan.
