The Tamil documentary 'Njan Revathi' directed by Abhijith P has unveiled its title poster
The title poster for the Tamil documentary 'I am Revathi' written and directed by photojournalist P Abhijith following the release of the film 'Antharam' which earned Neha the first-ever Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in a Malayalam film for being a female transgender character, has been released. Renowned Tamil director Mysskin unveiled the title poster for Pride Month at the 'Pride Palooza' event, which was organized by transgender couple Neha and Rizwan Bharti and took place at the 'Idam' Art and Cultural Center in Kodambakkam, Chennai. Madras High Court Judge Justice Anand Venkatesh, director Nandhini JS, poet Sukirtharani, actresses Dr. Gayatri, Neha, Rizwan Bharti, main character of the documentary Revathi, director P Abhijith, cinematographer Mohammad A, sound designer Vishnu Pramod and others were present.
In "Njan Revathi" Abhijith is interpreting the life of transgender author, activist, and performer A Revathi. Revathi rose to fame with her autobiography, "The Truth About Me" which was published by Penguin Books. A Shobhila is the producer of Naam Revathi, which has been filming for about two and a half years across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.
