Bougainvillea, a movie that went viral in theaters, is now accessible on OTT
Sony Liv started streaming Bougainvillea on December 13
Ajith Velayudhan and Siju S Bava are the associate directors of the film Bougainvillea. The executive producer of the movie is Arun Unnikrishnan.
Bougainvillea which starred Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, and Jyothirmayi was a box office hit because it captivated viewers from beginning to end and offered them a fresh visual experience. The movie's OTT streaming rights have been purchased by Sony Liv. On December 13, the movie will be available for viewing on Sony Liv.
The film is renowned for its enigmatic imagery and restrained dialogue in the narrative penned by Lajo Jose and Amal Neerad. It was directed by Amal Neerad, the most elegant director in Malayalam history. Jyotirmayi as Reethu, a previously unheard-of acting performance is also included in the movie. Everyone was taken aback by Jyotirmayi's 11-year hiatus from acting in movies. The outstanding performances by Kunchacko Boban and Fahadh are also the film's high point.
The director of popular action movies, Amal Neerad, is back with a new kind of suspenseful psychological criminal thriller. Additionally, Sharaf U Dheen, Srinda, Veena Nandakumar, and Jinu Joseph all give noteworthy performances in the movie. The movie's published tracks, "Sthuthi" and "Maravikale Parayu...", reached the YouTube trending list. In theaters, the film was well-praised by both reviewers and viewers.
The film Bougainvillea, which was directed by Amal Neerad, follows the success of Bheeshma Parvam. The film's core elements are the editing by Vivek Harshan, the photography by Anend C Chandran, and the music by Sushin Shyam. Under the auspices of Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures, Jyotirmayi and Kunchacko Boban are producing the movie.

The lead actors of Amal Neerad are announced through releasing character posters on 8 June 2024.
The music for the film 'Bougainvillea' was composed by Sushin Shyam with the lyrics by Rafeeq Ahamed and Vinayak Sasikumar. The dance sequences of Bougainvillea are arranged by choreographers Jishnu and Sumesh.
Bougainvillea movie released in theaters by A&A Release on October 17, 2024. The overseas partner of Bougainvillea is Phars Films LLC (PHF). The Malayalam film Bougainvillea is streaming on Sony Liv from 13 December 2024.

Synopsis
The two main protagonists in the plot are Dr. Royce and his wife Reethu. The couple is content with their lives and has two children. Reethu was diagnosed with retrograde amnesia eight years ago as a result of the couple's injuries sustained in a car accident. She's being looked after by Royce. Reethu paints scenes of Bougainvillea flowers because she is obsessed with them. When a minister's daughter vanished and the authorities discovered that Reethu was after her, things took an intriguing turn. In Bougainvillea audience finds out how Reethu is related to the unsolved case.
