RK Vellimegham, a psychothriller movie is directed by Supreme Director Sainu Chavakkadan. One of the main characters from the Tamil blockbuster movie 'Subramaniapuram' Vichithran, plays a significant role. The film stars Vijay Gowrish and Sana Farzana in the key roles, with action queen Sumi Sen's thrilling scenes with intense action sequences. The movie RK Vellimegham is produced by PG Ramachandran under the banner of Chandrasudha Films. The screenplay and dialogues for the film are written by Kovai Balu from the story of Yadhu Krishnan R.

Pravi Nair is the Co-Director of the film RK Vellimegham and the Associate Director is Aneesh Ruby.

After his first film made him renowned in Tamil, director Raj Kumar, also referred to as RK, was unable to direct another picture for eight years. Young Tamil screenwriters Santhosh and Raghu have been emulating R.K. with their stories over the years. RK rejected several stories, but in the end, he showed interest in the recently composed narrative. Following this directors began developing the script. Everyone was astonished by some of the occurrences that happened in the interim.

A distinct form of psychothriller, Vellimegham shows a film inside a film. According to the makers, this movie will be unique in Tamil.
