Identity Malayalam movie is written and directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan after the super hit films 7th Day and Forensic. The film Identity features Tovino Thomas as the lead character after the super hit film 'ARM' along with leading lady Trisha and power woman Mandira Bedi. Actor Vinay Rai, who is notable for his important roles in the super hit South Indian films Doctor, Thupparivaalan, and Hanuman, Aju Varghese, Shammi Thilakan, Arjun Radhakrishnan and Vishak Nair are also lined up. Identity was produced by Raju Malliath under the banner of Ragam Movies, which has produced about fourteen films including Sreekrishna Parunthu and Bhramaram, which is the all-time classic of Malayalam Cinema.
