Bharatanatyam Malayalam movie is written and directed by debutant Krishnadas Murali. The movie Bharatanatyam features Saiju Kurup and Saikumar as the lead characters. The film Bharatanatyam, which stars the well-known actor Saiju Kurup directed by debutante Krishnadas Murali has wrapped up filming in Angamaly on 22 April 2024. The major locations of the film were Mala, Annamanada, and Mookkannoor. 33 days are taken for the filming but the film was charted for 40 days of the shoot.

Actor Saiju Kurup spent his birthday on 12 March 2024 on the film 'Bharatanatyam' set. The cast and crew of the movie 'Bharatanatyam' arranged this birthday celebration. This year, Saiju celebrated his birthday at the Ernakulam Bharatnatyam site. The shooting of Bharatanatyam in which famous actor Saiju Kurup entered the production, began on 10 March 2024 with a simple ceremony held at Mookkannoor Josh Mall near Angamaly. Music director Ouseppachan started the ceremony by lighting Bhadradeepam. Then Saiju Kurup's mother Mrs. Shobhana KM did the switch-on and actor Nandu Poduval gave the first clap. Filmmakers like Jibu Jacob, Sinto Sunny, director of 'Gu' Manu Radhakrishnan, and cinematographer Sreejith Mancheri were also present at the event.

During his rebuttal speech, Saiju Kurup claimed to be the protagonist in the film. The movie is a family drama that takes place in a middle-class village and is mostly focused on the dominant family in the area. The common challenges in society and the link between family relationships are shared in this film.

Bharatanatyam movie's story revolves around a young man who participates in national politics and temple committees. Saiju Kurup portrays this persona. We always see this persona in our daily lives, and it always makes us laugh and think. Saiju Kurup makes this character extremely secure.

Bharatanatyam movie hits the theatres on August 30, 2024. The film was initially planned to be released on 23 August 2024 and postponed to a new date. The Malayalam film Bharathanatyam is streaming on Manorama Max from 27 September 2024.

Synopsis

The father of Sasi is Bharathan Nair. With three additional siblings, he is the oldest member of the family. Sasi is a member of the temple committee and leads a very social life. After Bharathan Nair suffered a stroke one day, Sasi was informed by the medical staff that his father's time was running out. Bharathan Nair told Sasi, on his deathbed, about his other wife and child, and he wished to visit them one more time. In Bharathanatyam, we witness the chaos that the revelation of the truth unleashes upon Sasi's family.
