Badal is a Malayalam political thriller movie written and directed by G Ajayan. The film Badal features Swetha Menon and Gayathri Suresh as the lead characters. Joy Mathew, Salimkumar, Director Priyanandanan, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Siddharth Menon, Aneesh G Menon, Anoop Aravind, and IM Vijayan are the other prominent stars. The movie Badal is produced by Joseph Varghese Elenjikal under the banner of Alternate Cinemas.

The cinematography of the film Badal is handled by Reji Prasaad. The executive producers are KT Krishnakumar and PR Suresh. Shajith Thikkodi and Hari Kannur are the production designers.

The video illustrates the relationship between man and nature by issuing a strong warning against the exploitation and tyranny of the power structure and by looking at the armed warriors who were raised in the forests. The characters in this film, which depicts the story of a society's agony through the intensely personal connections of two women who follow two different routes in life, are Gayathri Suresh and Shweta Menon. In this film, Badal, a captivating part played by newcomer Neetu Thomas, features people from around 3,000 tribal locations.
