Anand Sreebala is a Malayalam investigation thriller movie directed by Vinayan's son Vishnu Vinay. The film features Arjun Ashokan, Saiju Kurup, Siddique, Aparna Das, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese,Indrans, Manoj KU, and Malavika Manoj. The movie Anand Sreebala was produced by Priya Venu under the banner of Kavya Film Company in association with Aan Mega Media of Neeta Pinto after the success of Malikappuram in 2018. The screenplay for the film was scripted by Malikappuram scriptwriter Abhilash Pillai based on true events.

Gopakumar GK, Sunil Singh, and Justin Boban are handling the production department. The chief associate director of the film is Binu G Nair. The PR and marketing of the movie were done by Vaisakh C Vadakkeveedu and Jinu Anilkumar.

Synopsis

The film centers on the passing of Merin Joy, a little child. One day after her family reported her missing, she was discovered dead in a local lake in Kochi. Enough evidence was discovered by the police to conclude that it was a suicide. But that investigation did not persuade the family. Later, a TV journalist named Sreebala chose to include this case in her show on unsolved cases. She enlists the aid of her boyfriend, Anand, who aspires to be a police officer, for this case. The parallel inquiry carried out by Anand, whose mother, Sreebala, was also a police officer, is what we witness in the film.
