Nunakuzhi is a Malayalam dark humor movie directed by Jeethu Joseph. Features Basil Joseph in Nunakuzhi as the lead character with Grace Antony in another important role. The movie Nunakuzhi is produced by Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar of the famous film production company Saregama India Ltd. and Bedtime Stories of Jeethu Joseph. Baiju Santhosh, Siddique, Manoj K Jayan, Aju Varghese, Saiju Kurup, Binu Pappu, Azees Nedumangad, Selvaraj, Althaf Salim, Swasika, Nikhila Vimal, Shyam Mohan, Dinesh Prabhakar, Lena, Kalabhavan Yousuf, Kalesh Paravoor, Riyas Narmakala, Arun Punalur, Shyam Thrikkunnappuzha, Santhosh Laxman, Kalabhavan Jinto and Sunder Nayak are also part of the film. The screenplay for the film 'Nunakuzhi' was written by KR Krishna Kumar who also authored the scripts for Jeethu Joseph's flicks '12th Man' and 'Kooman'.

The cinematography of the film is handled by Satheesh Kurup and Vinayak VS does the editing. Sahil Sharma is the co-producer and Suraj Kumar is the executive producer. The chief associate director is Sudeesh Ramachandran and the associate directors are Sony G Solomon and Amrish Kumar.

Mohanlal, the most popular actor in Malayalam cinema, unveiled the first look poster for Nunakuzhi, directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Basil Joseph on 30 June 2024. The eagerly anticipated movie's release date has also been revealed by the producers, 15 August is when the movie opens in theaters. On social media, the poster with the slogan "Liar's Day Out" is getting more traction. Following the enormously successful movies Falimy and Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, Nunakuzhi holds the unique distinction of being the picture in which Basil Joseph appears.

The shooting for the film Nunakuzhi begins on 6 November 2023.

The title poster of 'Nunakuzhi' was released through social media on 19 September 2023. The film Nunakuzhi has the distinction of teaming up with Jeethu Joseph and KR Krishnakumar after the success of 'Kooman'.

The music for the film 'Nunakuzhi' is composed by Jay Unnithan with the lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar.

Nunakuzhi movie released in theaters by Aashirvad Release on August 15, 2024. The Malayalam film Nunakkuzhi digital premiere on 13 September 2024.

Synopsis

Eby, a successful businessman's son, is compelled to lead his father's company as managing director. When income tax investigators raided Eby's office one day, they chose to take Eby's laptop as part of their protocol. Regaining access to that laptop was crucial to preserving Eby's marriage because of some of the most sensitive information on it. In Nunakkuzhi by Jeethu Joseph, we witness Eby's attempts to retrieve the laptop and how that sets off a series of events.
