Jai Ganesh is a Malayalam thriller movie which was written and directed by Ranjith Shankar. Features Unni Mukundan in and as the title character Jai Ganesh. The second look poster of 'Jai Ganesh' was released on New Year's Eve of 2024.

The first-look poster for 'Jai Ganesh' scripted and helmed by Ranjith Shankar movie starring Unni Mukundan was made public on 16 November 2023. The first look eschews discussing whether it is a myth, religion, or object of worship in favor of a depiction of Unni Mukundan sitting in a wheelchair.

Through this movie, Ranjith Shankar and Unni Mukundan form their first collaboration. Jai Ganesh is a thriller with plenty of surprises and is suitable for both adults and children.

The pooja of the film was held on 10 November 2023 at the Edapally Thrikkakara Temple. The movie Jai Ganesh will start filming on 10^th November 2023. Ranjith Shankar wrote and directed the film. Unni Mukundan's role is one of the most challenging in his career. Touted to be a family entertainer, the film has a storyline that appeals to children and adults alike. The shooting of the film began on 11 November 2023 in the surrounding areas of Ernakulam. Jai Ganesh is a Malayalam movie starring Unni after Malikappuram.

Synopsis

The main character Ganesh, is a graphic artist who creates posters for a media company. Ganesh's lower body was wounded in a bike accident, and he now uses a wheelchair to get around. Ganesh has two other passions. He is a digital evidence provider and ethical hacker who also happens to be a comic book enthusiast and creator of the Jai Ganesh comic book series. In the film Jai Ganesh, there is a kidnapping that takes place at Ganesh's apartment. The movie shows how Ganesh becomes involved in this case and how he aids the police in solving it.
