National Chairman, Akhila Thanthri Pracharak Sabha Brahmasree Sreeraj Krishnan Potty and J Vikraman Swamy Kuriyanvilla of Sri Bhagavathy Mudippura Kshetracharyan, Parassala graced the function with their presence. Sooraj Sun, Abhirami Girish, Devan, TG Ravi, Jayasankar, Shailaja and others are joined by newcomers and celebrities.

The major location of the film Aavani is at Balussery of Kozhikode and surrounding areas.

The music for the film 'Aavani' is composed by Binoj Binoy from the lyrics of MR Jayageetha, Rajan Karthikappally, Kallayam Suresh, and Unni Kulamada. The singers are KS Chitra, Najim Arshad, Vinitha, and Seethalakshmi. The dance choreography of the film is done by Revathi Chennai.
