Adi is a Malayalam family entertainer movie directed by Prasobh Vijayan who also directed 'Lilli' and 'Anveshanam'. Features Shine Tom Chacko, Ahaana Krishna, and Dhruvan in the lead. Also starring Bitto Davis, Sreekanth Dasan, and Anu Joseph in other important roles. The movie Adi is produced by Wayfarer Films, a Dulquer Salmaan company, and the fourth production by Dulquer Salmaan as a producer. The screenplay for the film Adi is written by Ratheesh Ravi who also wrote the script for 'Ishq'.

Faiz Siddik is the cinematographer and Noufal does the editing. The Chief Associate Director of Adi is Sunil Kariattukara and the Associate Directors are Sifas Ashraf, Sethunath Pathmakumar, and Sumesh with Harris Desom as the project designer.

Shine as Sajeev and Ahaana as Geethika give their best performances of their careers in the movie Adi. The film Adi is a real-life tale with amusing parts that will appeal to a wide range of viewers.

The entire movie was shot in and around Aluva over 50 days, keeping in line with all COVID regulations. Wayfarer Films are amped up for wrapping up our Production No. 4 on December 15^th, 2020. The music for the film "Adi" was scored by Govind Vasantha with the lyrics by Anwar Ali and Sharfu. The movie's first song "Thone Mohangal" was released on 4^th April 2023. Haniya Nafeesa and Govind Vasantha perform the song, which was penned by Sharafu.

Synopsis

Geethika and Sajeev Nair are ready to wed. After registering their marriage, they travelled to the temple to exchange vows when Sajeev's car and a bike got into a messy accident. Sajeev was publicly humiliated as a result of the situation escalating into a physical brawl. You can see in Adi how Sajeev was affected by this incident and how his response had an effect on their marriage.
