The film Back Bunchers is about campus love, frustration, and tenderness of relationships. The film tells the story of the arrival of a girl named Roya to the campus and about her five friends. Roya often helps her poor classmate Balu. A student named Vinay comes in between them and they fall in love with each other. Vinay helps Balu at a critical juncture. Later, the film depicts the changes that occur between these three. On many campuses, what are known as backbenchers are doing some good work. This is the plot of the film "Back Benchers".

The music, lyrics, and editing are done by the director Sujith Menon.

Back Benchers movie was released in Kerala theaters by Sanha Studio Release on May 16, 2025.

Synopsis

Together with four lads she met in college—Balu, Johnson, Arya, and Rakesh—a female named Roya creates a club called the Backbenchers. Vinay is one among them.
