The movie Corona Papers is the first production venture of Four Frames of Priyadarshan. This is for the first time Priyadarshan making a movie with today's younger generation.

The untitled movie was announced on 14^th June 2022 and planned the shooting started in September 2022. The film began shooting on 27^th October 2022 in The Movie Houses, Ernakulam, and the title was also announced on the day "Corona Papers". The title looks of Corona Papers, the film directed by Priyadarshan starring young actors Shane Nigam and Shine Tom Chacko, was released on 26^th February 2023. The first look poster of Shane Nigam starrer Corona Papers was released on 5^th March 2023 via the social media pages of Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Keerthy Suresh. The poster features Jean Paul Lal, Siddique, Shine Tom Chacko holding the gun, and Shane Nigam. The poster hints that a thriller film is in the works.

Synopsis

When Rahul arrives at his first station as a newly enlisted SI in the Kerala police force, he is given a shadow duty. Unfortunately, he misplaced his service revolver and later learned that it had been used in a heist in which a girl had been shot. Rahul privately joins the bank robbery investigation team to track down those responsible because his employment is in danger. The Corona Papers show how that inquiry develops and what he discovers while conducting it.
