19(1)(a) is a Malayalam movie featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Nithya Menen, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Indrans. Directed by debutant Indhu VS and produced by Anto Joseph Film Company in association with Aan Mega Media of Anto Joseph and Neeta Pinto. The music score for this project was done by Govind Vasantha.
The title poster of the movie was unveiled by famous celebrities through their social media page on 3rd November 2020, designed by Indrajith Baby. The first look of the movie 19 1 a was launched on 22nd June 2022. Lead actors Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen were on the first look poster designed by Oldmonks. Filming started on November 5th, 2020 in Thodupuzha. Rima Kallingal performed the switch-on ceremony in the presence of the cast, crew, and other dignitaries.
19 1 a movie was released on July 29th of 2022 on Disney Plus Hotstar Multiplex as an OTT release.
