Ullozhukku Malayalam movie is written and directed by Christo Tomy. The movie Ullozhukku is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Honey Trehan, and Abhishek Chaubey under the banners of RSVP Movies and MacGuffin Pictures, Sanjeevkumar Nair is the co-producer.

The chief associate director of Ullozhukku is Ambro Varghese and the casting director is Varsha Varadarajan. Sanjeev Kumar Nair of Reverie Entertainment is the co-producer of Ullozhukku. Pashan Jal is the associate producer and Chetana Kowshik is the executive producer. Maharsh Shah, Sonia Kanwar, and Sanaya Irani Zohrabi are the creative producers of Ullozhukku and Hasanain Hooda is the assistant creative producer.

The script 'Ullozhukku / Undercurrent previously titled Shavamdakkam / The Funeral' has won the first prize at the Cinestaan India’s Storyteller Contest. The pooja of the movie Ullozhukku was on 28^th May 2022.

Synopsis

Thomasukutty, together with his spouse Anju and mother Leelamma. Following Thomaskutty's brain tumor diagnosis, Leelamma and Anju are finding it difficult to care for him. Eventually, Thomaskutty passes away, and the family finds out Anju is expecting a child at the same time. Christo Tomy's directorial debut Ullozhukku, depicts the drama that takes place in that family at Thomaskutty's funeral.
