Gramavrikshathile Kuyil Malayalam movie is the biography of Kumaranasan directed by KP Kumaran who has given a new direction to modern Malayalam cinema through different movies from 1975 Athidhi to 2008 Aakasha Gopuram. Renowned singer and music director Sreevalsan J Menon played the Kumaranasan. Garggi Ananthan plays Kumaranasan's wife Bhanumathi Amma and journalist Pramod Raman plays his friend Moorkoth Kumaran.
The movie is based on the life of poet Kumaranasan, one of the greatest poets the world has ever seen. The filming has completed in 2019 and screened at the IFFK last year.
Gramavrikshathile Kuyil movie was released in theaters on April 8th of 2022.
