Naja: Survival Malayalam movie is written and directed by newcomer Shamnad Karunagappally. Features Joy Mathew, Niyas, Mujeeb, Riyas Narmakala, Anshad, Jayan Kodungallur, Abi Joy, Shihab Kottukadu, Shefeek, Suresh Shankar, Shibu Mathew, Majeed Chingoli, Ambika, Devi Ajith, Uppum Mulakum fame Shivani, Shabana Anshad, Nida Jaish play the lead role. The movie 'Naja' is produced under the banner of Magnum Opus Media.

The movie 'Naja' tells the story of three Malayalee women who bravely survived the ordeal in the desert. The title Naja is an Arabic word that means Survival. The film Naja is filmed in Saudi Arabia, the first commercial cinema shot in Saudi.

The pooja and release of the title track of the film 'Naja' were held at the Ernakulam Renai Cochin on 17^th March 2022. Director Mohan lid the Bhadradeepam and inaugurated the pooja function of 'Naja' film directed by Shri Shamnad Karunagappally, who is also a journalist. State and National Award-winning filmmaker and Jeevan Satellite Communications Managing Director, Baby Mathew Somatheeram handed over the title of the movie to the producer Sauda Sheriff. Music director Jerry Amaldev, lyricist Babu Velappaya, music director Shreya S Ajith, Felix Sebastian, Abdul Jabbar, Shanavas Munampath, Majeed Mythri, Niyas, and Riyas Narmakala spoke on the occasion.

The music of the movie 'Naja' is composed by Shreya S Ajith and Sathyajith Zbull, with Lyrics by Babu Velappaya and KC Abhilash. The songs are sung by Sithara Krishnakumar, Sathyajith Zbull, and Shabana Anshad. The dance of the Naja film is choreographed by Vishnu V-Freak.
