Minister GR Anil said Thikkurissi was a unique genius in Malayalam cinema

Thiruvananthapuram: Minister GR Anil inaugurated the Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair memorial jointly organized by the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club and the Thikkurissi Foundation at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club Hall. The Minister said that Thikkurissi was a unique genius in Malayalam cinema and the Foundation should take initiative to make Thikkurissi's house a memorial and the government would support the activities of the Foundation.

Press Club President M Radhakrishnan presided over the function. Chalachithra Academy Vice Chairman Premkumar delivered the keynote address. Film critic TP Sasthamangalam delivered the Thikkurissi memorial speech.
Foundation Secretary Rajan V Pozhiyoor, Treasurer Surendran Kuriathy, NRC Nair, Rahim Panavoor and Sheeba spoke. Dr. Vazhamuttam Chandrababu Thikkurissi conducted the memorial service.
