Padmini Malayalam movie directed by Senna Hedge who made a name for himself with the film Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam. Features Kunchakko Boban as the title character Padmini. Aparna Balamurali, Madonna Sebastian, and Vincy Aloshious are the heroines. The movie is produced by Suvin K Varkey and Prasobh Krishna under the banner of Little Big Films after Kunjiramayanam, Aby, Kalki, and Kunjeldho. The screenplay is written by Deepu Pradeep, the director of Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam and the writer of Kunjiramayanam. Ganapathi, Althaf Salim, Sajin Cherukayil, Anand Manmadhan, Gokulan, James Elia, Malavika Menon, and Seema G Nair are the other prominent stars.

The cinematography of the film is handled by Sreeraj Raveendran and Manu Antony is the editor. The chief associate directors are Vishnu Dev and Shanker Lohithakshan, and the executive producer is Vineeth Pulludan.

The filming has started for the film "Padmini" started in Kollengode. The official trailer of 'Padmini', directed by Senna Hegde starring Kunchacko Boban has been released on 5^th July 2023.

The music for the film "Padmini" is composed by Jakes Bijoy from the lyrics of Manu Manjith and Titto P Thankachan. Senna Hedge, who gained fame with the films Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam, and the Kunchacko Boban starrer "Padmini" has been released the lyrical video song on 24^th June 2023. Manu Manjith wrote the words, and Vidyadharan Master and Kunchacko Boban sang the song which starts with "Love You Muthe...".

Padmini movie was released in theaters on July 14^th of 2023, distributed by Central Pictures Release. The movie was planned to release on July 7^th of 2023 and was postponed. The crew informed us that the release of the film is being postponed as the people are suffering due to adverse weather conditions in Kerala. The Malayalam film Padmini's streaming rights were bagged by Netflix and started streaming on 11^th August 2023.

Synopsis

Rameshan, a college lecturer, had a first marriage that didn't work out. On the first night of their marriage, Smrithi, his bride, went with her lover. Prior to Padmini, a visiting lecturer, joining his college, Rameshan had never been particularly interested in getting married again. Nevertheless, his first marriage regrettably interferes at a vital juncture, and what we witness in Padmini is how Rameshan and his advocate handle that circumstance.
