Dhaka Film Festival Best Actor Jayasurya
Sunny is a dramatic story of a performer who ends up in an enthusiastic emergency, and how an abrupt new development and collaborations with complete outsiders assist him with reviving expectation and satisfaction.
The main location is a private hotel in Kochi. The entire crew will stay at the same hotel. Shankar Sharma composes music with lyrics by Sandra Madhav.
The movie was announced on 4th November 2020 through various social media pages. The first look poster was revealed on November 10th, 2020.
The wonderful track named 'Nee Varum' highlights a song humming along as he plays the personality of Sunny, an artist in the film. As a musician, Sunny creates heartfelt melodies during his college days for his sweetheart who in the long run turns into his significant other and is seen, in the video, recalling his wife as he chimes in. The relieving verses see him express his adoration for herself and announce how she has improved him. Delightfully sung by KS Harisankar, created by Sankar Sharma, and sincere verses written by Sandra Madhav, 'Nee Varum' is a profound track committed to every one of the genuine sweethearts out there.
Actor Jayasurya has been selected as the Best Actor in the Asian Film Competition at the 20th Dhaka International Film Festival. Jayasurya won the award for his performance in the movie Sunny. Film festival officials informed director Ranjith Shankar about this, but Ranjith and Jayasurya could not attend the function due to the spread of Covid.
Sunny movie was released on September 23rd of 2021 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
