Patham Valavu Malayalam family suspense thriller movie based on a true story that occurred in Kerala and was directed by M Padmakumar. Features Suraj Venjarammoodu and Indrajith are the central characters with Aditi Ravi and Swasika as their heroines. The movie is produced by Dr. Zachariah Thomas, Gijo Kavanal, Sreejith Ramachandran, and Prince Paul under the banner of UGM Productions, the eighth production from the house in association with Mumbai Movie Studios. Naveen Chandra and Nidhin Kenny are the co-producers. The screenplay is written by Abhilash Pillai after the notable 'Night Drive'. Ajmal Ameer, a young Malayalam actor who shines in Tamil and Telugu films, plays a strong role in the movie with Aneesh G Menon, Sohan Seenulal, Rajesh Sharma, Jaffer Idukki, Nisthar Ahmed, Shaju Sreedhar, Boban Samuel, and actress Muktha's daughter Baby Kiara Rinku Tomy (Kanmani), who has made waves on YouTube, will be seen in a pivotal role in the film.

The title launch of the movie is on 20^th August 2021 thru Facebook pages of famous celebrities of Mollywood cinema. The first look poster of the big-budget movie Pathaam Valavu has been released on 23rd November 2021. The poster was released through the social media pages of many Malayalam stars. Indrajith in the role of a policeman and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the jail are seen in the poster released with the tagline "Only love with hatred". The film tells the story of a parolee and a police officer.

2018 super hit 'Joseph' and 2019 Mammootty's 'Mamangam' are the previous movies of director Padmakumar.

The music is by Ranjin Raj who composed the music for 'Joseph' with the lyrics by Vinayak Sasikumar, BK Harinarayanan, Ajeesh Dasan, and SK Sajeesh.

Pathaam Valavu movie was released worldwide in theaters on May 13^th of 2022. The Pathaam Valavu movie Tamilnadu rights bagged by B Sakthivelan Release of Sakthi Film Factory, rest of India released by UFO Cine Media Network. Star Holiday Films bagged the GCC release of the film. The digital streaming of the movie 'Pathaam Valavu' is on Manorama Max from 22^nd July 2022 and overseas by Simply South.

Synopsis

Solomon is a convicted felon who has not returned to prison after his release on parole. Inspector Sethu, who was about to take a 15-day leave due to his wife's pregnancy, is tasked with tracking down Solomon.
