Vaathil: Hold Me Tight Malayalam movie directed by Sarju Remakanth with a screenplay by Shamnad Shabeer. Features Vinay Forrt, Krishna Sankar, Anu Sithara, and Merin Philip in Vaathil as the lead characters. The movie Vaathil is produced by Suji K Govindraj under the banner of Spark Pictures and Rajeesh Valanchery is the co-producer. Sunil Sukhada, Unniraj, Abin Bino, VK Baiju, Pauly, Anjali Nair, and Sminu are also in the star cast. The screenplay for the film Vaathil is written by Shamnad Shabeer.

The cinematography of the movie is done by Manesh Madhavan and Johnkutty is the editor. The creative director for the film Vaathil is Nisar Muhammad. Anup Karatvellat and Riyas Adakkandy are the executive producers.

The title was released by actor Jayasurya on 6^th March 2021 through his Facebook page. Filming started on 15^th March 2021 in Thiruvananthapuram. Producer and Chamber President G Suresh Kumar lighted the Bhadradeepam and switched on the cinema during the pooja. The first look poster was released by famous film star Dulquer Salmaan on 31^st July at 6 p.m. through his Facebook page.

The music for the film Vaathil is composed by Sumesh Parameswaran and Sejo John with the lyrics of Vinayak Sasikumar. The lyrical video song "Kanive Evide" of Sarju Remakanth's "Vaathil" has been released on 8^th July 2023. The song was sung by Rahul Nambiar with the lyrics penned by Vinayak Sasikumar and the music composed by Sejo John.

Vaathil movie was released in theaters by Cineline Entertainment on September 22^nd of 2023. The movie "Vaathil" which was directed by Sarju Remakanth and stars Vinay Forrt, Krishna Sankar, Anu Sithara, and Merin Philip in the key parts, has unveiled a brand-new poster update about the theatrical release date. Initially, the film Vaathil was planned to be released in December 2022 and to be watched with the family during Onam 2023 but was postponed.

Synopsis

Denny and Thani, a married pair, serve as our main protagonists. They both work for Denny's interior design company but practice different religions. The marriage is currently going through a really difficult time. What we observe in Vaathil is what caused the marriage to be in this state, as well as what transpires in these two people's lives as a result of their tense connection.
