Ammachi Kootile Pranayakalam is a Malayalam movie written and directed by newcomer Rashid Palluruthy. Features Malayalam's evergreen heroine Sheela and Malayalam cinema's mother Kaviyoor Ponnamma as the lead characters. Newlyweds Sathar and Samina are the hero and heroines of the movie. Baiju Ezhupuna, Pashanam Shaji, Ilyas Bawa, Sahil, Saji Napoleon, Arun Josi, Shameer, Reeja, Rajshree Action Hero Biju fame Mary Chechi and Baby Chechi are also in the cast list. The movie is produced by Rasheed VA under the banner of Cochin Mehandi Films and P Vijayan and Sofia are the executive producers.

Grandmothers support their grandchildren who are in love with each other and their difficulties are depicted in the movie.

Nijoy Varghese and Shahrshah Shanu compose the music for the movie with the lyrics by Rashid and Zine Unais. Najeem Arshad, Pradeep Palluruthy, Zia ul Haq, and Shahrshah Shanu are the singers.

Synopsis
