Priyan Ottattilann is a Malayalam movie by the director of C/O Saira Banu, Antony Sony. Abhay Kumar and Anil Kurian penned the screenplay and dialogues, both are joining together for the second time after Manju Warrier's 'Chathur Mukham'. Sharafuddin, Nyla Usha, and Aparna Das in Priyan Ottathilanu play the lead roles. Biju Sopanam, Hakim Shahjahan, Sudhi Koppa, Jaffer Idukki, Sminu Sijo, Ashokan, Harisree Ashokan, Shaju Sreedhar, Shivam Sopanam, 'Tamasha' fame Uma KP, Jayarajan Kozhikode, Veena, Viji, Vinod Thomas, Sreeja Das, Vinod Kedamangalam, Kookal Raghavan, Harish Pengan and Anarkali Marikar are also in the leading roles. The movie Priyan Ottathilanu is produced by Santosh Thrivikraman under the banner of Wow Cinemas and Aneesh C Salim is the executive producer.

The title poster was released on 28^th February 2021 through social media pages. The first look poster of the movie Priyan Oottathilaanu was unveiled on 26^th March 2022. The second look poster was revealed on 15^th April 2022. The official trailer of the movie 'Priyan Ottathilanu' has been released on 14^th May 2022.

The filming started on 14^th March 2021. The major shooting location is entirely in Ernakulam. Sharafuddin plays the title role of a homeopathic doctor as Priyan.

Lijin Bambino composes the music with lyrics by Shabareesh Varma and Vinayak Sasikumar, who wrote the popular songs for the movie "Premam", and Prajeesh Prem for the film Priyan Ottathilanu.

The first lyrical video song of the movie has been released on 4^th June 2022 and the video song on 16^th June 2022. The song "Nerane..." was written by newcomer Prajeesh Prem and sung by Benny Dayal. The song released on the Sarigama Malayalam YouTube channel has received a good response. Benny Dayal has returned to Mollywood after a gap of two years.

Priyan Ottathilanu movie was released in theaters on June 24^th and 2022 by Wow Cinemas and Dream Big Films is the distribution partner in GCC, release on June 30^th, 2022 by Stars Holiday Films. Mazhavil Manorama is the satellite partner of the movie 'Priyan Ottathilanu' and Manorama Max is the streaming partner. The movie Priyan Ottathilaanu streaming on 2^nd September 2022 on Manorama MAX, Amazon Prime Video, and Simply South.

Synopsis

Priyadarshan practices homeopathy and he is the secretary of the apartment where he is staying and has a wife and child. Priyadarshan is a promising screenwriter and he is also searching for an opportunity. The movie Priyan Ottathilanu story is about a day in Priyan's life when he had a lot on his plate and how he handled it all despite unforeseen obstacles.
