Meow is a Malayalam family drama movie directed by Lal Jose and scripted by Dr. Iqbal Kuttipuram. Soubin Shahir and Mamta Mohandas are in the lead roles. Salim Kumar is also playing an important role. Apart from them, Harishree Yusuf, two children, and a cat are also featured. Another main character is a young Russian girl named Yasmina. The movie is entirely filmed in the Gulf region. Thomas Thiruvalla is the producer, cinematography by Ajmal Sabu and music composed by Justin Varghese ('Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela', 'Thanneer Mathan Dinangal')

This is the fourth screenplay by Iqbal for Laljose after the super hit films 'Arabikkatha', 'Diamond Necklace' and 'Vikramadithyan'. Parts of the films were shot in the Gulf. The third film 'Vikramadithyan' was shot only in Kochi.

Meow Malayalam movie tells the story of Dusthackeer, a grocer who runs Sulu Minimart a grocery store, and his wife and two children. The theme of the movie is diverse family backgrounds.

Shooting starts on December 14^th, 2020 in Ras al Khaimah, UAE. The title poster was released on December 19^th, 2020. The first official teaser of the movie has been released on 4^th November 2021.

Meow movie was released in theaters on December 24^th of 2021 by LJ Films. The digital streaming of the movie Meow from 5^th February 2022 onwards on Amazon Prime, Manorama Max, Saina Play in India, and Outside India through Simply South. The world television premiere of the 'Meow' movie, which includes all the ingredients of family films, will be telecast on Asianet on Sunday, March 6^th, 2022 at 4.30 pm to the delight of the audience.
