Std XE 99 Batch Malayalam sports movie is scripted and directed by Joshiy John. The film stars Nandhana Shaju, Noel Geevarghese Joseph, Salim Kumar, Kichu Tellus, Kottayam Nazeer, Chembil Asokan, Bitto Davis, Sreejith Perumana, Aneesh Gopal, Chinnu Kuruvilla, and Geethi Sangeetha. The film is produced by Mini Mathew and David John under the banner of Mini Mathew Productions.

The celebrity couple Shaju Sreedhar, and Chandini's daughter Nandhana Shaju is joining the ranks of Malayalam cinema heroines. Nandana is familiar to the Malayalees through her TikTok videos. Noel is best known for his role in 'Action Hero Biju'. He has appeared in small roles in some films like 'Kolumittayi', 'School Diary', and 'Vikrithi'. Noel has also acted in Sreekumaran Thampi's serial 'Bandhuvaru Shathruvaru'.

The film is based on the 'Kili Kaly' of Kerala and has many scenes that emphasize sports. The love story of a Plus One student and a 10th class student also comes to the fore in the context of kilikaly.

The pooja and switch on the ceremony of this film were held on 5^th November 2020 at the Edappilly Anchumana Devi Temple grounds in Ernakulam. Dileep was the chief guest at the function and Sreejith Perumana done the first clap for the film. Filming will start on November 26^th in Kottayam. The first look poster launched by Janapriya Nayakan Dileep through his social media handles on 20^th February 2021.
