Kaanekkaane Malayalam movie is produced by TR Shamsudheen under the production house DreamKatcher, who presented the blockbuster films 1983 and Queen. Directed by Manu Ashokan, maker of Uyare movie, and written by the significant scriptwriter duo Bobby-Sanjay. Tovino Thomas and Aishwarya Lakshmi play the lead roles in the film. 'As You Watch', is the tagline in the poster.

Mammootty unveiled the title poster of the movie on 26^th September 2020 on his social media page. Pooja of the movie was held on 18^th October 2020. The first look poster was unveiled on 23^rd January 2021.

Kaane Kaane movie was released on September 17^th of 2021 only on Sony Liv.
