PK Rosy Malayalam movie is directed by Sasi Nadukkadu. Features newcomer Upanya plays the title character PK Rosy with famous actors Madhu, Bheeman Raghu, Jayan Cherthala, Urmila Unni, and Sethu Lakshmi, and many new faces are lined up in the film. The movie P.K. Rosy is produced by D Gopakumar under the banner of GS Films. The screenplay for the film is written by the director Sasi himself.

P.K. Rosy is an autobiography of PK Rossy, the first heroine of Malayalam cinema. In the first Malayalam movie of the talented JC Daniel's Vigathakumaran portrays Rosamma, a Dalit girl, as the female lead PK Rosy, in a time of strong caste disparities. Vigathakumaran was a silent film and later they had to become victims of the intense experiences of upper casteism. Based on these events, the story of the tragic heroine PK Rosy is presented to the audience in the movie P.K. Rosy.

The music for the film P.K. Rosy is composed by Eenam Vijayan for Sukumaruthathoor's lyrics and Sanu Sajith is the dance choreographer. The movie P.K. Rosy has won the approval of many art and cultural organizations including film critics.
