Pada is a Malayalam political thriller movie written and directed by Kamal KM, who made his directorial debut in the 2012 Hindi film 'ID'. Features Kunchacko Boban, Vinayakan, Joju George, Dileesh Pothan in the lead roles. The movie Pada is produced by Mukesh R Mehta, AV Anoop, CV Sarathi under the banners of E4 Entertainment and AVA Productions. The story of the movie 'Pada' is based on an actual incident that took place in Kerala 25 years ago and received a lot of media attention. It is also the story of the political resistance created by the Adivasi Land Rights amended by the Kerala Legislative Assembly in 1996.
