Vaanku Malayalam movie based on the story of the same name by Unni R. Starring Anaswara Rajan, Nandana Varma, Gopika Ramesh, and Meenakshi Unnikrishnan in the lead roles. The film also stars Joy Mathew, Vineeth, and Prakash Bare. Directed by Kavya Prakash, daughter of renowned director VK Prakash (VKP).

The film has been shortlisted for the 25^th International Film Festival (IFFK) in the Malayalam Cinema Today category.

Vaanku movie released in theaters on January 29^th of 2021 by 7J Films through Aveena Release. Initially is planned to release on 13^th March 2020 and rescheduled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Digital streaming from 5^th February 2021 by Neestream.

Synopsis

Razia, a free-energetic youthful Muslim young lady's mom is a carefree individual, while her dad is an excessively strict individual. Razia is in the last year of her degree.
