Qalb is a Malayalam romantic movie written and directed by Sajid Yahiya. The film features Ranjith Sajeev and Neha Nazneen in lead roles. Accompanied by Siddique, Lena, and Jaffar Idukki in other prominent roles along with around twenty-five selected new faces are also lined up in this film. Apart from them, the film also stars social media influencers Kaarthik Shankar, Shemir, Jassim Hashim, Abu Saalim, Sanoop Kumar, Vishnu Azheekal (Kadal Machan) along with Sreedhanya, Manohari Joy, Chooral team Ambi, Athira Patel, Sarasa Balussery, Surjith, Chali Pala, Sachin Shyam, and others. The movie Qalb is produced by Vijay Babu under the banner of Friday Film House in association with Fragrant Nature Film Creations. The script and dialogues are written by Suhail M Koya and Sajid Yahiya from the story of the director.

The DOP of the film Qalb is Sharon Sreenivas and Amal Manoj is the editor. The chief associate director is Vijith and Asif Kuttipuram is the associate director. The executive producer is Vinay Babu and the casting is done by Abu Valayamkulam. Suneesh Varanad, Santogeorge, Anand PS, Jithan V Soubhagom, and Deepak S Thachettu are the creative supporters.

"Ninne Kandennu, Enteumma Paranjennu, Nilaavu Polennu, Nee Nalla Pennennu", was a sweet and beautiful song sung by famous music director Hesham Abdul Wahab. The song was penned by Suhail Koya and composed by Prakash Alex. Newcomers Ranjith Sajeev and Neha Nazneen Shakil are the actors in this song. This song proves that Hesham is also a great singer. This song was fully filmed at SD College and Alappuzha Beach.

The production of the film Qalb is nearing completion. Initially, the film was planned with Shane Nigam as the lead with Amaravathi Radhakrishnan of Arjun Amaravathi Creations as the producer.

Qalb movie was released in theaters on January 12, 2024. The film Qalb is censored with a clean 'U' certificate.

Synopsis

Leo Kaalpo, our hero, lives in a seaside place in Alappuzha, and he runs this cafe with his father. He has a gang of friends, and the plan of Kaalpo is to marry some foreigner and settle in some European country. That plan suddenly changed when a new girl named Thumbi came to the neighborhood, and Kaalpo fell for her. Thumbi, who has an abusive father, wasn’t really confident about the relationship.
The ups and downs in that relationship and where it takes them is what we see in Qalb.
