Ellam Sheriyakum is a Malayalam political family drama movie. Notable young actor Asif Ali is presenting the central character. Rajisha Vijayan is the heroine. Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajon, Sudheer Karamana, Johny Antony, James Eliya, Sethu Lakshmi, Mahanadhi fame Tulsi, and Jordi Poonjar also play the lead roles. Cinematographer Jibu Jacob is the director of the film. The screenplay is by Sharis Mohammed. Dr. Paul's Entertainment and Thomas Thiruvalla Films, the banner of Dr. Paul Varghese, and Thomas Thiruvalla are the producers. Sreejith Nair is the cinematographer and Sooraj ES is the editor.

‘Vellimoonga’, ‘Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol’, and ‘Adhyarathri’ are the films directed by Jibu Jacob earlier.

The shooting of the film started on December 18^th, 2020 in Erattupetta, Kottayam. Music director Ouseppachan performed the switch-on and Dr. Paul Varghese gave the first clap. Mani C Kappan MLA, PC George MLA, Central Pictures Shaji, and others were present on the occasion.

The song "Ilapeythu Moodumi" written by BK Harinarayanan and sung by Sithara Krishnakumar with the music by Ouseppachan was released. Famous music director Ouseppachan compose music for the 200th movie 'Ellam Sheriyakum' has a special feature. The songs of the movie are released by Satyam Audio.

Siddique's character poster KC Chacko of the Jibu Jacob's movie 'Ellam Sheriyakum' has been unveiled by the esteemed political leader Oommen Chandy at the Kottayam DCC office on 7^th November 2021. Famous music director Ouseppachan, who has completed 200 films, was honored with a Ponnada at the function.

Ellam Sheriyakum movie was released in theaters by Central Pictures on November 19^th of 2021. The movie is scheduled for release on September 17^th of 2021 and postponed due to theaters being shut down. Initially, the movie was earlier planned for release in theaters on June 4^th of 2021, and postponed due to lockdown. The movie was digitally premiered through Zee5 on 26^th January 2022.
