Ravanaprabhu Malayalam action thriller movie written and directed by Ranjith. The film Ravanaprabhu features Mohanlal in the dual role of Mangalassery Neelakandan and MN Karthikeyan, father, and son as the lead and Napoleon reprises the role of Neelakandan's archenemy Mundackal Shekharan. The film also features Vasundhara Das, Siddique, Innocent, Vijayaraghavan, and Sai Kumar

Raavanaprabhu marked the directorial debut of director Ranjith and the sequel of the 1993 film Devaasuram directed by IV Sasi and written by Ranjith.

Ravanaprabhu movie was released in theaters on Onam, August 31, 2001.

Synopsis

Karthikeyan, an alcohol noble, embarks to reclaim his genealogical house which was usurped by Shekharan.
To look for retribution, Karthikeyan steals Shekharan's little girl and winds up experiencing passionate feelings for her.
