Kolambi Malayalam movie directed by TK Rajeev Kumar. Features south Indian superheroine Nithya Menon and Ranji Panicker are the lead characters. The cinematography of the movie is by Ravi Varman and Sabu Cyril handles the production design. The screenplay of the movie has been written by Dr. KM Venugopal along with the director Rajeev Kumar. Award winner Rasool Pookutty is the sound director. The cast includes Dileesh Pothen, Rohini, Manju Pillai, Baiju Santosh, Siddharth Menon, G Suresh Kumar, Aristo Suresh, and Sijoy Varghese.

Actor Mohanlal launched the official Fb page of the movie on 24^th October 2018. Director Priyadarshan and Art director Sabu Cyril joined on the occasion. On 14^th July 2019, the first look poster of the movie was released by actresses Nithya Menen and Vijay Yesudas.

The music of the movie is composed by Ramesh Narayanan with lyrics by Prabha Varma. The song sung by Bombay Jayasree in the movie had already caught the attention of the audience. The beautiful songs of the movie are released through Manorama Music. Singer Madhushree Narayan has bagged the state award for best singer for her song 'Aarodum Parayuka Vayya'.

Prior to its release, the movie had won a National and a State Award. The movie Kolambi is aimed at international film audiences and festivals. Nithya Menon will be making a comeback in TK Rajeev Kumar's film after the movie Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty and also Rajiv Kumar's 25^th film. Kolaambi was awarded Best Lyrics by Prabha Varma for the song “ Arodum Parayuka Vayya” and won Rajat Kamal and Rs. 50,000/-

Kolaambi movie hit the screens on December 24^th of 2021 on the MTalkie OTT platform. The film Kolaambi was released in theaters on April 7^th of 2023.
