Synopsis

Shanthanu (dileep) is a linguistics researcher and he is in love with his former student Kalpana (samvrutha) who hails from a rich family. Both are helped by their common friend Anuradha (mamta) in terms of arranging meetings, places to spend time and even love letters.
Shanthanu lives in a simple way with small accommodation and not much money in earning. A time comes when he decides to make things better as he decides to have a secret registered marriage with Kalpana. The story takes a turn when Shanthanu’s father comes up with an unusual demand from Kalpana.
